Description
The Leo T. McCarthy Center at the University of San Francisco will host the first annual California Prize Dinner on May 1, 2008, honoring social entrepreneur Lynn C. Fritz with the USF’s California Prize for Service and the Common Good. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit USF’s McCarthy Center, placing more USF students for service-learning opportunities with Bay Area nonprofits, like the Bay Area Red Cross, St. Anthony Foundation, and Haight Ashbury Food Program.
