San Jose's all-uke shop (ukulele = jumping flea in Hawaiian) brings to J-town an outlet for the expressive four-stringed instrument that takes five minutes to learn and a lifetime to master. The new shop specializes in instruments, strings and DVDs. The tiny place is linked to the nearby Uke Jams in Japantown, a clearinghouse for uke classes and other forms of mass ukuleleism. (RvB)
