Description
Tonight Red Poppy resident artists the Nice Guy Trio showcase the fourth installment of their “Nice Guys + 1 Series”! This concert series will feature the playing and compositions of a different guest artist (or artists) alongside the trio each month. Tonight’s special guest is David Phillips on pedal steel.

The Nice Guy Trio is Darren Johnston on trumpet, Rob Reich on accordion, and Daniel Fabricant on bass. Together they create an intimate sound that is reflective of their contrasting yet complimentary musical backgrounds. Their performances, which emphasize spontaneity, navigate a diverse collection of original compositions and songs from folk traditions across the globe—from jazz and klezmer to Balkan dance forms, calypso and beyond!
