PacRep Theatre has announced a return engagement of the company’s award-winning rock ‘n’ roll musical, Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story, by Rob Bettinson and Alan Janes, with performances starting May 22nd at the Golden Bough Theatre in Carmel. The hit production, which broke all local box office and attendance records, was held over three times, toured the state and went on to win the San Francisco Bay Area Critic’s Circle Awards for Best Musical, Best Ensemble, and Best Leading Actor (Travis Poelle). The musical features over twenty of Buddy Holly’s greatest hits telling the life story of rock and roll legend Buddy Holly and his meteoric climb to the top of the charts to become the biggest selling recording artist worldwide before his tragic death in a plane crash at the age of 22.

It has been called the show that changed Carmel, and it's back! PacRep's Buddy broke all local Box office records, toured throughout the state, and then won the San Francisco Bay Area Critics' Award for Best Musical, Best Ensemble and Best Leading Actor.
