Lovers and Strangers are back again at Monterey Live.
Yes the rumors are true!! Founding members Ray Bertolino and Steve Sippel together with seasoned veteran drummer Jeff Johnson, of Trial By Fire fame, and newcomer bassist Dino Bozzo, the ship is once again put out to sea.

Lovers and Strangers over the last twenty years has put out some of the best music and most entertaining shows Central California has witnessed. Since forming back in 1986 many members have come and gone, yet Lovers and Strangers has persevered through it all. After officially calling it quits around 2000 and moving on to the life after playing live, the band still wrote and continued to be active in the music scene. Ray moved to Las Vegas, then Maui and continued to produce and write songs with artists in the local area. Steve started a family and wrote and produced a soundtrack with former drummer Chris Costanza for a project called "The Silence in Heavena." Ray eventually returned to his roots in the Monterey Bay and put his state of the art recording studio to use to record some new songs with Steve, and the seed was once again replanted. After the untimely death of drummer and good friend Chris Costanza, there was a common bond and affection to keep a flame alive in his spirit. Most of the songs the band were writing and recording at the time were done with Chris as co-songwriter.

Cut back to summer 2007: Lovers and Strangers has new found energy, new members(again) and a desire to plunge into the live arena and play some new songs and old favorites for all to hear.
