Description

For 25 years, the Boadsports School has been teaching people how to windsurfing. 8 years ago, we started the first kiteboarding school in the bay area school and we've taught more people to kite than any other school.

Come see why we've been voted "Best of the Bay," by both SF Magazine & the Bay Guardian!

It takes the average kiter between 20-40 hours of lesson and practice time before they are consistantly riding on the board. Our 2 part lesson is designed to get your kiting faster. Section 1 is our Land Lesson. In this lesson, you'll learn:
-Wind Dynamics
-Proper set-up/rigging
-How to use your safety systems
-How to launch, land and fly a full-sized kite

In our water section, you'll learn to use the kite in the water. You will:

-Body drag using full power strokes
-Self Rescue
-Water Relaunch
-Skills permitting, we'll try to get you on the board!

Kiting is 90% kite control. As such, we highly recommend that all student get 6 hours of instruction on
