A great resource in an area of town you wouldn't expect to find such a great health conscious market.
 
While the meals are somewhat hit or miss compared to Whole Foods, again, where in this neighborhood are you going to find something comparable?   The sandwiches are mostly right on, the salad bar is okay, you can pick up some specialty items, order catering, etc.
 
Unless you're willing to wait until the weekend farmer's market at Civic Center, this part of town is an urban wasteland for food shopping.    You'll spend more money than say Trader Joe's but not more than Whole Foods.   Even though it's a mixed bag, the area needs places like Harvest.
