Oakland East Bay Symphony presents two rare concert hall stagings of Goldman and Sondheim’s fabled Tony Award-wining musical FOLLIES on Friday, May 16, 8pm and Sunday, May 18, 2pm at the spectacular art deco Paramount Theatre in downtown Oakland. Maestro Michael Morgan leads the orchestra. The featured cast includes Academy Award-wining singer/actress RITA MORENO, Beach Blanket Babylon star VAL DIAMOND, acclaimed cabaret performer SHARON McNIGHT and opera diva SHERI GREENAWALD. The legendary score contains some of the most witty, achingly romantic songs ever heard on Broadway, including "I’m Still Here", "Broadway Baby" and "Losing My Mind".
