Dandelion Dancetheater collides raw, emotionally-driven, athletic and lyrical movement with theatrical scenes and gesture to explore the essence of what it is to be alive. We are committed to creating work which is accessible to a diverse public, while at the same time pushes the boundaries between dance and theater. Our work often re-tells historically/politically/personally significant events in an up-close, visceral way that resonates at a universal, gut level. Committed to the exploration of the endless possibilities of the human body, Dandelion hopes to spark self-realization, dialogue, and most importantly a sense of inter-connectedness in the communities in which we perform.
